Fibermax supplies composite materials to the Technical University of Braunschweig. The university, among others, has under its wing the Lions Racing Team founded in 2000, by a group of motorsport enthusiasts. Lions Racing Team is a self-governing club made from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, as well as economics and media studies. The team regularly takes part in many Formula Student events and competitions every year with its electric vehicles.
