Kevlar ballistic panels

Kevlar ballistic panels are specialized components used in the manufacture of body armor and bulletproof vests, utilizing Kevlar's fiber properties such as high tensile strength and light weight. These panels are crafted by layering the aramid ballistic fabric, in order to optimize energy absorption and dispersion, while offering excellent balance between flexibility and protection against bullets and projectiles. Please note that higher or lower protection level can be reached upon request by using a different number of layers and higher or lower quality of fabrics.   CHARACTERISTICS OF INDICATIVE EXAMPLE OF BALLISTIC PANEL Layers of fabric: 15 layers Thickness: 6 mm Panel size: 1600X1300 mm Total surface of 1 panel: 2.08 m2   CHARACTERISTICS OF BALLISTIC FABRIC USED (K455P) Areal weight: 455 g / m2 Weaving style: Plain Warp: aramid fiber, Kevlar 129 3140 dtex, 50%, 6.4 ends (threads) / cm Weft: aramid fiber, Kevlar 129 3140 dtex, 50%, 6.4 ends / cm Please click on picture, for a closer view to the fabric's real size.
